Oregon Wildlife Refuge: Isn’t It Treason To Ask Others to Break Federal Law?
Simply put, as a citizen of Oregon and the United States, I want the armed militants – I believe they are homegrown terrorists – to be removed from the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
These men are not patriots protecting the country.
The men are not protesters fighting an actual injustice.
These men are not protectors of the land.
These men are criminals who believe they are above the law. They want to steal resources from the American public – without cost or punishment.
They care nothing about wildlife or endangered species.
Basically they are nothing, but a bunch of would be land grabbers, who care not a whit about me or you or the rest of the citizens of the United States. Oh, they may wrap themselves in saying it is all about the Constitution – but what do they really mean by their wrappings?
Here is information from the 1/20/16 edition of The Curry Coastal Pilot Newspaper: At a local meeting where these armed militants were asking other ranchers to break their leases with the Bureau of Land Management – which I would call an act of sedition, a rancher asked Ryan Bundy: “Are we a nation of laws?”
“No,” said Ryan Bundy.
“So, we just break laws all the time and that’s OK?” the rancher then asked.
“We are a nation of laws, and this law is the one being broken.” Ryan Bundy replied, referring to a copy of the Constitution. “And this law is the supreme law of the land.”
I wish someone would point out to the Bundites that the U.S. Constitution gives the power to the Federal Government to make laws – including laws about land use and trespassing and protecting species, etc. No where in the Constitution does it give Bundy or the other militants the right to ignore such laws that are inconvenient to them. The only people I know of, who believe they are beyond the law, are criminals – like these armed thugs.

They do have the right to protest – which comes at a cost of being arrested and tried, if they protest in a way that breaks laws. They also have a right to challenge laws in court and to elect officials who can change the laws they disagree with. But the Constitution does not give them the power or the right to just break laws, they do not like.
While at the Refuge – these home grown terrorists have torn down fences, built a road across sensitive land, stolen vehicles, invaded computers and broken many other laws and rules that show their true criminal colors.
The Wildlife refuge in Oregon helps protect over 200 species of birds, it is a major stopping and feeding spot for migratory ducks and geese. But these men care nothing about about how the Federal Government is protecting these natural resources at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. To quote a bit more from 1/20/2016 edition of The Curry Coastal Pilot:
“Ryan Bundy then went on to emphasize that breaking away from the federal government means ranchers wouldn’t have to follow federal laws, like the Endangered Species Act.
“‘You know how many endangered species we’re dealing with on our ranch right now?” Bundy asked. “Zero, because it doesn’t matter anymore.'”
I will give you one more quote from another newspaper, The Oregonian: “Harney County Sheriff David Ward on Sunday afternoon said a group of militants that seized an eastern Oregon wildlife refuge is trying to overthrow the local and federal governments.”
My conclusion is that these home grown terrorists are breaking laws, trying to overthrow the government and harming wildlife. They are all treasonous men and animal abusers.
Get them out of my state and into jail to face trial!
UPDATE 01/22/16: The US Fish and Wildlife Service has confirmed that the new road built by the occupiers, not only goes through a delicate ecosystem, but is also within an archaeological site important to the Burns Paiute Tribe. Further reports state they are messing with historical Native American artifacts. The only thing sacred or special to these monsters is their personal greed and egos. Removal and arrest by January 31st is now necessary.

Books About Homegrown Terrorists
On September 6, 1781, Connecticut native Benedict Arnold and a force of 1,600 British soldiers and loyalists took Fort Griswold and burnt New London to the ground. The brutality of the invasion galvanized the new nation, and “Remember New London!” would become a rallying cry for troops under General Lafayette. In Homegrown Terror, Eric D. Lehman chronicles the events leading up to the attack and highlights this key transformation in Arnold—the point where he went from betraying his comrades to massacring his neighbors and destroying their homes. This defining incident forever marked him as a symbol of evil, turning an anti-heroic story about weakness of character and missed opportunity into one about the nature of treachery itself.
Homegrown Terror draws upon a variety of perspectives, from the traitor himself to his former comrades like Jonathan Trumbull and Silas Deane, to the murdered Colonel Ledyard. Rethinking Benedict Arnold through the lens of this terrible episode, Lehman sheds light on the ethics of the dawning nation, and the way colonial America responded to betrayal and terror.

TITLE: Republican Treason: Republican Fascism Exposed
|
“This book is a polemic directed against the Republican Party and the conservative movement, drawing largely on their own published statements. Alleging that the Republican Party is fascist and treasonous, the author defines both fascism and treason, and offers quoted testimony in support of his claim. He shows that the US policy of political warfare around the world was originated under President Eisenhower and is still going on full force. In the wake of World War II, the US attacked democratic movements on the false claim of fighting communism. Now democratic movements are targeted on the false claim of fighting terrorism, suggesting that they are a threat to US security.
Deciphering some of the code words and unmasking the misleading motivations that have been used to make US citizens support war, the book is a guide to reading between the lines of Washington news briefs and campaign rhetoric. The author discusses the hypocritical nature of the Republican Party and describes an important change in this country’s foreign policy from the Truman administration’s containment of communism to a new policy of political warfare that has held sway ever since. The narrative analyzes the Republican Party’s overblown and misdirected anti-communism and its fascist orientation.”–Publisher’s description.
