Last Republican Debate: Same Old Crap – Fewer Mouths Spewing
If you watched previous Republican debates, you did not have to watch this one – you basically heard the same message:
- American is going downhill.
- The economy is terrible.
- All the jobs are in China.
- There is never enough oil.
- Everything is Obama’s fault.
- Every citizen is a loser and stupid.
- Hate and Fear.
- And I almost forget: Fear and Hate.
- And one more thing: Kasich has experience!!!
Since there has been so much improvement that has occurred in the last 7 years, it was amazing to watch grown men repeating the same litany of lies and fears. “Oh my, America is on its last legs…” Notice how they so cowardly blamed “the other” for made-up wrongs. And, of course, there is the absolute denial of science and truth and reason.

Just once I would like to have just one of them admit that President Obama has done at least one thing right.
For example:
- I am paying $150/month less in health premiums – thank you President Obama.
- Gasoline is the lowest in years – thank you President Obama.
- Unemployment has dropped by half – thank you President Obama.
- More than 100,000 American troops have come home from war – thank you President Obama.
- More than 12 million new jobs – – thank you President Obama.
- Got Apple Corporation to build two new factories in the USA – thank you President Obama.
- Created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau – thank you President Obama.
- Due to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, inflation in the healthcare sector dropped to its lowest point in 50 years – thank you President Obama.
The list goes on and on, but I will stop here.
I do know that the Republican candidates aren’t expected to say nice things about the President or Democrats, but when they lie about the accomplishments of the President – and present fantasy for reality, that is very troubling. Such conduct is not only a reflection of bad character, it shows a distinct lack of imagination and the understanding of the problems facing our country and the world. Ultimately, it is a disservice to the American people and threat to the security and prosperity of our country’s future.
